The 2011 Overseeding Schedule
Coachella Valley Golf Courses
All of the courses in the desert region overseed their courses from Aug. – Dec. Some clubs have more than one course and they stagger the schedule to allow play throughout the fall. Other clubs with just one course will close for approximately one month during this time. Each course has their own schedule, so please refer to the list below for the 2010 overseeding schedule. Please call to confirm dates. This information was provided to Desert CADDIE in June 2010.
Following is an overseeding schedule for public courses located in Palm Springs, Cathedral City, Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert, Indian Wells, La Quinta and Indio, CA.

Resident Cards Make Golf More Affordable

Residents Cards are making golf affordable for Coachella Valley golfers this season. For a small one-time fee, you can purchase a card that entitles you to discounted tee-times at some of the premier courses around the desert.
Traditionally, the only way to get breaks at most courses was to go through a next-day service and get the times that were left over for the next day or day-of. With the new discount cards, you are able to make advanced times and get breaks during more desired times of the day.
Here in the Coachella Valley there are a handful of city-owned clubs that offer special resident’s rates including: Desert Willow for Palm Desert Residents, SilverRock Resort for La Quinta Residents and Indian Wells Resort for Indian Wells Residents.
Public golf clubs, that are privately owned, are now starting to offer their own residents card and special rates to all Coachella Valley Residents. The Golf Club at Terra Lago and The Classic Club are two golf clubs offering such cards. Their resident cards are not limited to a specific city, which qualifies all desert city residents in the Coachella Valley.
