Kraft Nabisco Championship Tickets Now On Sale

RANCHO MIRAGE, CALIF. (Oct. 22, 2010) – Want to get a head start on your holiday shopping and give your favorite charity a year-end boost?  The Kraft Nabisco Championship has announced that advance tickets for the 40th anniversary of the Kraft Nabisco Championship at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, Calif., are now on sale at www.KNCGolf.com.

Golf fans can now purchase tickets to the first LPGA major of 2011 through the Integrated Wealth Management TICKETS Fore CHARITY program.  For the second consecutive year, 100 percent of the proceeds from advance ticket sales will be donated to charity. According to Tournament Director Gabe Codding, tickets can be purchased either by contacting a participating charity and filling out an order form, calling the tournament office or by ordering online.  When ordering tickets online or by calling, purchasers will be asked to designate a charity to receive the proceeds from the sale.  To date, more than 100 charities have signed up to participate in the 2011 program.

Tickets are priced at $20 for each one-day ticket (good for any one day of Tournament Week Tuesday to Sunday), $100 for a six-pack of any day tickets or $180 for a twelve-pack of any day tickets.  The 2011 tournament is set for Monday, March 28, through Sunday, April 3.  Admission to Mission Hills Country Club on March 28 is free (practice rounds only).

The Integrated Wealth Management TICKETS Fore CHARITY program is open to any 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.  Last year, the first year of the program, more than $150,000 was raised for desert-area charities in two months with more than 90 non-profits participating.

The 2011 program is launching six months before the event and tournament officials have set a goal of $450,000 for this year’s campaign.

“If 140 charities sign up and sell just one ticket per day over the next six months leading up to the tournament, the goal of raising $450,000 for charity will be achieved,” Codding said.

The Kraft Nabisco Championship also launched its premium 18th Green Suites (formerly known as the Kraft Pavilion), which will offer prime viewing of the championship golf action Thursday, March 31, through Sunday, April 3.  The package includes premium covered seating near the water around the 18th green, food and beverage, and exclusive on-site parking.  Tickets for the 18th Green Suites are priced per person at $135 for Thursday, $145 for Friday, $155 for Saturday and $165 for Sunday.  A four-day package is also available for $500 per person, a $100 savings off the per-day prices.

KRAFT NABISCO CHAMPIONSHIP RAISES $150,000 FOR LOCAL CHARITIES IN FIRST YEAR OF NEW PROGRAM

KRAFT NABISCO CHAMPIONSHIP RAISES $150,000 FOR LOCAL CHARITIES

IN FIRST YEAR OF NEW PROGRAM

RANCHO MIRAGE, CALIF. (May 18, 2010) – The Kraft Nabisco Championship announced that its new Integrated Wealth Management TICKETS Fore CHARITY™ program raised nearly $150,000 for more than 90 desert area charities in its first year of operation.  The LPGA golf tournament made the announcement recently at its annual Appreciation Luncheon with more than 100 representatives, tournament officials and sponsors in attendance.  Also at the luncheon, Integrated Wealth Management distributed checks generated from a $25,000 bonus pool it created for the program.  The pool was divided among the charities based on the percentage of overall tickets sold by each organization.

According to Gabe Codding, business manager for the Kraft Nabisco Championship, the top-selling charities for the 2010 event were:

1)         Korean American Coalition                               6)         King’s Schools of the Desert

2)         Coachella Valley Autism Society                       7)         Jewish Family Service of the Desert

3)         The Unforgettables Foundation             8)         LPGA Foundation

4)         Parkinson’s Resource Organization                   9)         Animal Samaritans SPCA

5)         American Cancer Society (Calif. Division)         10)       Alzheimer’s Association

The Integrated Wealth Management TICKETS Fore CHARITY program is Kraft Nabisco’s multi-year program in which non-profit organizations have the opportunity to sell advance tickets to the tournament and retain 100 percent of the money from the sales.  Codding said that planning for the 2011 charitable giving program has already begun and ticket sales for the 40th anniversary of the KNC will be under way by this fall.

“Our goal is to launch the ticket program as soon as possible so that charities will have a longer lead time to generate more sales and, ultimately, more dollars for their programs and services,” he said.  “We are thrilled at the results from our first year, and look forward to building on the great foundation that was established.  We also want to acknowledge the tremendous role that Integrated Wealth Management played this year in the overall success of the program, and look forward to partnering with them again in 2011.”

The 2011 Kraft Nabisco Championship will celebrate its 40th anniversary March 28 – April 3, 2011, at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, Calif.  Only the men’s Masters at Augusta National has had a longer continuous run of any major tournament on either the men’s or women’s professional golf tours.
